Hugo has worked in the UK's private equity and venture capital sector for over ten years and has substantial experience advising and raising capital for a range of early stage businesses. Spearheading all client relationships at Chance Capital, Hugo works with a select number of trusted partners, specialising in different sectors to help deliver client requirements with the utmost diligence, professionalism and above all, integrity.

Siavosh Zarrasvand

Chance Capital CTO

Having been through several acquisitions by industry giants (Epic Games, Twitter) Sia is uniquely positioned to empower organisations to remain competitive and ahead of the curve in an era defined by rapid technological advances. At Chance Capital, Sia advises clients and partners on how to become more competitive using deep tech and artificial intelligence. Sia is equally comfortable discussing strategy with C-suits, C++ with software engineers or semiconductor printing with nanotechnologists.

Irina Curbelo

International Mobility, Business and Corporate Governance

Irina has 20 years professional expertise gained through audit and advisory work in “Big Four” firms Deloitte (Canada) and KPMG (Europe and the Caribbean), TMF Group (UK) and Henley & Partners (UK) combining corporate finance, operational improvements and turnarounds across multiple industry sectors, with specialisms in private client advisory, corporate governance, risk analysis and contingency planning, process design and implementation, project management, international expansion, and Board-level engagement. In 2020, Irina co-founded Percheron Advisory. She is fluent in English, Spanish, Russian and French. Irina brings a host of international expertise to Chance Capital, assisting clients on a range of visa and tax requirements.

Jordan Willis

Real Estate Financing

Jordan is our go-to for all things real estate finance. Previously a Relationship Manager at NatWest, Jordan has since been at the forefront of the real estate sector. With over a decade of experience, he runs JW Finance, which covers the whole of the UK with a strong focus on Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and Greater London. Jordan assists Chance Capital clients with their real estate leveraging, property tax and mortgage requirements. He is an expert in the field and a valuable asset to the team.

Dr Milla Marinova

Healthcare

Dr Milla Marinova is a medical doctor and Clinical Research Fellow at Imperial College, with a focus on hospital patient flow. She recently worked with the Scottish Government for the Redesign of Unscheduled Care Programme and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in partnership with the World Health Organisation on quality governance in healthcare internationally. She is a director of the Centre for Quality in Governance. Dr Marinova holds a Masters (M.Phil.) in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge; a multi-disciplinary biotechnology and business degree, run jointly with Judge Business School in Cambridge and obtained a Masters (M.Sc.) in International Health Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE). Milla advises Chance Capital clients on all things healthcare and recently set up and runs R8ER, the world first professionally vetted digital evaluation platform for disruptive healthcare.

Will Taborn

Legal

Will spent 25 years in leading Barrister’s Chambers; including working with many of the most respected QC’s, Juniors and Senior leadership figures at the Bar. Will owns Taborns, a Legal Concierge Outsourcing business that connects businesses, HNW’s, Family Office and Professional Service Providers to the some of the best in class services. In addition to this Will also co-owns his own law firm, an SRA Regulated ABS (Alternative Business Structure) which has been created to drive an innovative way of delivering legal services - contentious or non-contentious - outside of the more traditional routes, thereby achieving a the best value for clients. Will's legal expertise and wider network is invaluable for both Chance Capital and its client base.
